As the days of summer grow shorter, yet the heat rises and the smell of fresh cut Bermuda grass permeates the air, we know that football is around the corner. Inside the gym, the floor has been prepared to a gleaming shine beckoning the volleyball team to a return to competition. Each year, the anticipation of a new season, a new school year, and new challenges arise. It is with this in mind that we look forward to the opening of a new school year!

We have a record of great successes in our athletic program, which include multiple championships on the field of competition. It gives us great pleasure to be able to highlight our latest CIF championship. Our 2010 Baseball team won the CIF Team Academic Championship at the end of last school year. The team GPA was 3.725, the highest of any baseball team in the Southern Section. This is another great example of the blend of academics and athletics available at Desert Chapel! As we prepare to open the new school year, there is only one thing to say: GO EAGLES!
