About Desert Chapel Christian School (DCCS)

Desert Chapel Christian School, under the auspices of Desert Chapel Church, was established in January 0f 1980. Over 250 students are provided a Christian framework for academic and spiritual excellence. Curriculum is chosen from outstanding Christian publishers so that we may provide the finest possible academically challenging atmosphere for our students. Supplemental curriculum includes: Computer, Choral Music, Physical Education and participation in Association of Christian Schools Science, Math, Speech and Creative Writing competitions. Standardized testing results show our students score consistently above national norms. Our dedicated staff pledges to continue our commitment to academic and spiritual excellence enveloped in a strong and loving Bible believing environment.

Mission Statement

The mission of Desert Chapel Christian School is twofold in providing families with a Christ-centered, biblically-directed education, the goal of which is to develop a personal relationship with Jesus and to instill the vision and practice of excellence in academics, character and service to God and to others.

Admittance Policy

Desert Chapel Christian School’s admittance policy requires the following: 

1. An entry-level assessment at all levels.
2. Having met all birth-date verification and immunization requirements.
3. A review of the most recent grade reports and standardized test results.
4. Return of all required forms.
5. Have an administrative interview with both the family and the prospective student.
